Pablo Baraybar is a distinguished business consultant often sought after for his highly regarded experience working with corporations throughout Latin America. In addition to serving in a variety of high-level positions such as CEO, director of business, and manager, his expertise includes leading private enterprises through high-risk situations, particularly crisis management in adverse governmental environments, as well as strategic and commercial planning for business development.

Pablo offers nearly 40 years of experience while working on behalf of a variety of multinational consumer good corporations. He is most recognized for his leadership in corporate governance, crisis management, business and new market development, as well as tenures as president and board member of high-profile business chambers in the Latin region.

While serving as business director at Alimentos Polar, Mr. Baraybar helped lead an expansion of operations from Venezuela to Colombia, Spain, and the United States, and increased exports to more than 96 countries worldwide. During his tenure there, Pablo also participated in various business chambers throughout Venezuela and in other countries. The most prestigious position he held was president of Cámara Venezolana de la Industria de Alimentos (CAVIDEA) where he was known for championing free enterprise, combating price control, currency controls, and harmful legislation for private enterprises.

For more than 14 years, Mr. Baraybar was CEO at Empresas Polar International, and today retains his involvement in the company as a member of the board of directors. Through his work, he continues to provide support which encourages development, and has obtained 23% annual growth and more than 45 trillion in sales.

Pablo specializes in consulting for enterprises operating in high-risk markets. He often shares his extensive experience dealing with the political and commercial challenges in Venezuela in order to help CEOs and managers prepare for crises that could threaten their operations and impact government relations.

Pablo is a professor of business at Universidad del Pacifico in the School of Business Administration. By training, he is an industrial engineer who focused on marketing management and sales, and is a graduate of the ESAN Business School in Peru.
