Milena is an Account Executive at Opportunitas Advisors, where she specializes in regulatory affairs and risk management systems. Her experience in both the public and private sectors has given her a strong understanding of how government and business work together. During her time at Opportunitas, Milena has worked with large companies in a variety of industries, including agriculture, construction, banking, mining, financial technology, and others, in several countries in Latin America, including Colombia, Peru, and Puerto Rico.

Prior to joining Opportunitas Advisors, Milena worked in the Regulatory Affairs Department at Empresas Polar, where she supported the development and implementation of the company’s risk management and mitigation strategy to ensure the company’s operational continuity.

In the public sector, Milena worked for the Mayor’s Office of the Hatillo Municipality in the Metropolitan Area of Caracas. There, she was part of the legal team of the Autonomous Institute for Environmental Management, working towards the reinstitutionalization of the Institute and compliance with environmental ordinances. She then joined the Mayor’s Office, where she became involved in issues related to the monitoring of management goals and local and regional politics.
Milena is a lawyer from the Andrés Bello Catholic University and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Institute for Advanced Management Studies.
