Opportunitas Welcomes Two New Senior Advisors

Opportunitas Advisors is proud to announce the addition of two new senior advisors, Pablo Baraybar and Valeria Marulanda Dávila, as the company continues to grow after a successful first year.
Both Pablo and Valeria bring a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience in helping companies throughout Latin America navigate communications challenges and regulatory, political, and reputational risks.

Pablo Baraybar is an accomplished business consult who is particularly skilled at leading private enterprises through high-risk situations, adverse governmental environments, as well as strategic and commercial planning for business development.
Pablo served for over a decade as President of Alimentos Polar, the largest food company in Venezuela. He is also the former president of the Cámara Venezolana de la Industria de Alimentos (CAVIDEA) where he was known for championing free enterprise, combating price and currency controls, and harmful legislation for private enterprises.
Pablo´s skills and expertise are a welcomed addition to Opportunitas Advisors, where he will help clients meet the challenges on a variety of issues including corporate governance, crisis management, as well as business and new market development.

Valeria Marulanda Dávila brings specialized expertise to Opportunitas Advisors in economics and communications. As a consultant in Colombia and the United States, she has advised more than 70 companies throughout the region and is particularly skilled at handling strategic communications and public affairs.
Valeria can navigate complex situations with special attention towards margers and acquisitions, financial communications, crisis management, government and legislative relations, corporate and public policy positioning, as well as media management and relations.
