Graciela is a seasoned communications expert who advises clients on managing their political and crisis communications issues. She has experience working in-house for multinational corporations, as well as an outside consultant advising companies and prominent political leaders throughout Latin America. In the United States, Graciela has created a variety of communications strategies for high-stakes litigation cases and has advised Fortune 500 companies in the development of their crisis management programs.
Before joining Opportunitas Advisors, Graciela was a consultant at Control Risks supporting the Washington, DC office in that firm’s Crisis and Resilience Practice. While there, she provided business resilience counsel to global corporations, and developed crisis management plans, governance documents, and crisis management exercises. Previously, Graciela worked for Empresas Polar in Venezuela and leading Washington, D.C. based strategic communications firm. CLS Strategies.
Graciela holds a Masters of Arts with a concentration in Conflict Management from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from Boston University. Graciela is fluent in both English and Spanish.
