Ángel Alayón is one of Venezuela’s top economic and political analysts appearing frequently as a commentator in the media and conferences in Venezuela and internationally.
He has used his multidisciplinary expertise to advise leading Venezuelan companies on corporate strategy, as well as guided them in crisis decision making situations. Ángel earned Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Universidad Santa María in Caracas, and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
He is a professor of the School of Business and the School of Public Policy at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA), one of Venezuela’s leading higher education institutions.
Ángel is also the founder and director of Prodavinci, one of the leading media outlets in Latin America in the field of explanatory journalism, and which has been recognized with multiple international journalism awards. He sits in the Board of Directors of various multinational corporations.
