Alejandro Silva is an experienced strategic communications advisor and co-founder with a long track record of developing, managing, and executing public affairs and political campaigns, with a focus on media relations and digital-based campaigns.
He has been involved in a myriad of political campaigns across Latin America, particularly the 2012 and 2013 Henrique Capriles presidential campaigns, where he helped manage and coordinate its communications strategy and execution. He was a member of Capriles’ national campaign command and coordinated its national tour planning and advance. He was also the Campaign Manager for Juan Pablo Guanipa’s successful candidacy for Governor of the State of Zulia, and recently he manages the strategic direction of Rafael Ramírez Colina’s campaign, elected Mayor the Municipality of Maracaibo, the second largest in Venezuela.
Alejandro is the founder of the online news website SuNoticiero.com, one of Venezuela’s top online news sources. His experience with digital communications has also led him to advise other online news portals and a myriad of other digital media ventures. He has also advised a number of private companies focusing on digital reputation management and crisis communications.
Previously, he was Director of Institutional Relations and Communications of the main private University in western Venezuela, the Rafael Belloso Chacin University, where he managed all institutional communications, as well as supervised two university connected media outlets-URBE Televisión and URBE FM.
Alejandro Silva holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a marketing specialization, as well as a Masters in Business Administration. He has also earned a number of higher studies certificates in strategic communications.
